We have been really busy!  Last term we learnt all about China and the Olympics.  We visited Gum San Heritage museum and had a Chinese banquet for lunch.  It was YUM!  Each week if we read our readers, we would get a star.  We had a Dim Sim lunch with Mrs Smith if we had read for enough nights.

This term we have a “bank account” for our reading.  Each night that we read we get money deposited into our bank accounts.  Soon we will be able to spend our money on things like having morning tea with the teachers, or a voucher so that we do not have to do homework for a week!  It should be fun.

We are working really hard on the songs for our production “Anchors Away” which will be on the 19th of November.  We are going to be the animals from Antarctica and Islanders from Tahiti. 

Grade 2/3 @ HavenWe have 14 students in our classroom and two teachers named Mrs Gebert and Mrs Smith.

Things We Like.

We play spelling baseball to teach us how to spell. Aily

We had smarties and we made graphs showing all the colours. In mine there were more purple smarties! YUM! Sean
